The Remora climbing shoes from Mad Rock are really classic, soft slippers: with a strong pre-tension, slightly asymmetrical last and only a slight downturn, they are a lot of fun in the gym, when bouldering or in the climbing garden.
The synthetic upper material is comfortable to wear and offers enough support for the foot. Thanks to the Power Patch on top of the toe box, the Remora provides grip for toe hooks, and the soft midsole makes the shoe precise and sensitive.
Mad Rock has intensively refined its rubber compound over the past few years: the 4.2 mm thick Science Friction 3.0 Rubber is particularly durable and sticky, ensuring you'll find good traction even on slick footholds. The special R2 Science Friction edge rubber counteracts "peeling," the separation of the sole from the upper.
All in all, the Remora climbing shoe is great for anyone looking for a not-too-ambitious slip-on shoe that's quick to put on and take off during training while still offering a good fit.
