The Windstopper Tech Reissue Jacket from Mountain Hardwear combines two features that are particularly useful in the mountains. Firstly, it is a fleece jacket, and secondly, it is also completely windproof.
While traditional fleece jackets let the wind whistle through, this one uses the Windstopper membrane from Gore-Tex. Not only does it reliably keep the wind out, it is also water-repellent. In this combination, the Tech Reissue jacket retains heat much more efficiently. If you get too warm, you can let off steam via the underarm vents.
Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem also help keep the wind out. The jacket also features double-layer reinforcement in areas more prone to abrasion.
