The polyurethane shell with the Grilamid and Pebax tongue gives you plenty of support and a high flex of 110. This means that even downhill-oriented ski tourers get their money's worth. The 62° range of motion in walk mode lets you ascend efficiently and comfortably. At 2580g per pair, the boot falls into a comfortable weight class that doesn't place too much strain on the ascent.
